DANCE WORLD CUP FINALS 2019
Our dancers have qualified for the Dance World Cup Finals in Portugal in June / July 2019. We are currently seeking sponsorship for the England Team Kit and donations towards the cost of the trip. Click here to link to our fundraising page.
In Nov 2018, 'Giselle' qualified in the Junior Large Group Classical Ballet section of the very prestigious Dance World Cup which is being held in Portugal in June / July 2019. This is a very great honour, and also a very great expense! We are looking to try and get a sponsor for the team kit and / or contributions to our trip.
In return, sponsors will have their logos prominently displayed on our team kit and England flags, be mentioned in any associated media coverage (we currently have Look North interested in covering this story and local press and radio), and also on all Social Media accounts / websites. The event itself is attended by 20,000 competitors worldwide, and live-streamed, so there will be great coverage all round. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if this is something you can help us with. More info below:
We have set up two fundraising sites where you can help us to raise funds for our Dance World Cup.

SPONSORSHIP REQUEST LETTER
My name is Samantha Bell and I am the Director of ElliTe Productions Ltd and Principal / Owner of ElliTe Studios (www.ellitestudios.co.uk). ElliTe Studios is a leading dance school in the centre of Wakefield where children age 3-18 can dance for fun or with aspirations to pursue a professional career in Musical Theatre, Dance, Choreography or Teaching.
The school has been running for 11.5 years now and in that time we have had hundreds of young people use our training facilities, come along to our classes and represent us at local and national competitions.
This year we have accomplished our biggest achievement yet by qualifying our Junior Large Classical Ballet Group (age 9-17) for Team England at the Dance World Cup Finals in Portugal, 28 June – 06 July 2019. This is a huge accolade; Dance World Cup is the greatest all-genre dance competition in the world for children and young adults and we are one of only two national groups to have qualified in this section. Open to children who attend a dance school that is not state run, over 20,000 competitors from 54 countries compete at their country qualifiers and at the World Finals each year. Qualifying for Team England is a particular honour as they have been crowned World Champions in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. To my knowledge, this is the only time a dance school from Wakefield has ever qualified for Team England, and possibly the only dance school from West Yorkshire. More information about the Dance World Cup is available on the website www.dwcworld.com.
Dancers travelling to the Dance World Cup Finals traditionally seek sponsorship from local and national companies to help fund the kit and / or the trip itself. We are seeking sponsorship for both. When it comes to the Team England Kit (photos attached) names / logos of sponsors are added down the arms of the tracksuit tops, but we have an order deadline of 20th February 2019. Additionally sponsor companies can have their logos on England flags carried during the opening and closing ceremony and on stage during the adjudications.
The total cost of our Team England kit for all competitors is £1944.00, including VAT and sponsorship logos. The kit is worn by all dancers on the journey to and from Portugal, at all times at the Dance World Cup venue in Braga, during the opening and closing ceremonies and on stage at the adjudications. The event is live streamed to global audiences on all devices.
The cost of our trip to Portugal is £561.98 per competitor. We have 12 competitors, 1 reserve and 2 dance teachers, at a total cost of £8429.70, but of course any contribution to our costs would be much appreciated.
In return, sponsors will have their prominently logos on our team kit and England flags, be mentioned in any associated media coverage (we currently have Look North interested in covering this story and local press and radio), and also on all Social Media accounts / websites. There are the ElliTe Studios Social Media pages, the Dance World Cup Social Media pages, Team England pages, and associated dance boards pages (i.e. ISTD and RAD). The event itself is attended by 20,000 competitors worldwide, and live-streamed, so there will be great coverage all round.
As the opportunity for exposure is quite large and on a global scale, we do hope that sponsoring our team kit / trip is something you might be willing to consider. We can provide you with further details if required and I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you further about this if you’d like.
